Perhaps you heard the news when Liz recently moved from WCCO TV to Alpha News. Her initial undercover report with Alpha News focused on the Carjacking Crisis in the Twin Cities and generated great interest and much acclaim. Police Chief Erik Fadden leads the Public Safety Department, which encompasses the Plymouth Police and Fire departments, as well as emergency management services. Erik grew up in Plymouth, graduated from Wayzata High School and has devoted nearly all of his professional life to serving the community as a member of the Plymouth Police Department. He has a family and two children that go to school in Plymouth. Fadden holds a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He has also pursued professional studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. and the Police Executive Research Forum in Washington, D.C.

Our members include women and men in the western Twin Cities suburbs of Plymouth, Wayzata, Minnetonka, and surrounding areas. We are chartered by the Minnesota Federation of Republican Women. Begun in 2015, we are a young and dynamically growing club.
Annual membership runs $45 (or $20 for spouses and associate members). It covers the costs of meeting space rental, website management, postage, and other miscellaneous administrative costs. To inquire about membership, contact nwmetrowomen@protonmail.com.
Guests are welcome to our monthly meetings. They are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, in the evening, and generally take place at the Plymouth Library (15700 36th Ave North) or the Minnetonka Community Center (14600 Minnetonka Blvd.) There is no cost to attend most meetings.
